Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PaprCamera does with your information. We kept it plain because privacy should be easy to understand.
The short version
Your photos and edits are stored on your phone. We do not run a cloud backup, we do not sell your data, and we do not use your images to train anything. If you delete the app, your PaprCamera library goes with it unless you saved copies to your camera roll.
What PaprCamera accesses
- Camera: used to take photos inside the app.
- Photo library read access: used when you choose to import a photo.
- Photo library save access: used when you save a finished memory or turn on Save Original Photo.
- Motion sensors: used for Shake to Develop. Movement data is not recorded or sent anywhere.
What we store on your device
Locally, the app may keep:
- Developed images and optional original captures
- Albums, favorites, captions, and edit settings you choose
- App preferences like theme, sound, haptics, grid, and flash
This lives in the app’s private storage on your phone. We cannot see it from our end.
What we do not collect
- No account or sign-in
- No analytics dashboard tied to your identity
- No uploading of your photo library to PaprCamera servers
- No advertising profile built from your usage
When data leaves your phone
Only when you explicitly ask it to:
- Share: opens the system share sheet. What happens next depends on the app you choose.
- Save to Photos: writes the image into your device’s photo library.
Caption fonts are bundled in the app under open-source licenses (SIL Open Font License 1.1 and Apache License 2.0). The app does not download fonts from the internet at runtime.
Children
PaprCamera is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has contacted us with personal data, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
We may update this page when the app changes. The date at the top will move when we do.
